Contaminated or not? (with pics)

So i have three cakes that are now completely covered with myc.  They looked all good but I needed to keep them in their jars for a few extra days as I wasnt gonna be home to attend to them and now that Im back I noticed that there are a few light-yellowish spots on the cakes...

The spots are faint yellow and seem to be moist, it doesnt really look like mold, looks kind of like a drop of yellowish fluid on the inside of the jar.  The one cake has quite a few of those spots, the other two cakes only have a couple small spots each.

Is it contamination or am I fine?  Ive tried to keep everything really sterile along the way...  Im attaching a few pics althou its kinda difficult to get the focus right on that stuff...

I think the mycelium is just producing metabolites, and from what I understand, this is perfectly fine. I would recommend letting them sit a while longer and see what happens. I am very new to this hobby however, so you may want to wait for someone with more experience to give their input.

Assuming those spots are just metabolites, everything looks good so far:thumbup: How long have they been colonizing for?

I hope you don't have any contams there, man. Best of luck on this grow

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

No - Not a repost and the pics are from today, so i guess someone may just have had a similiar problem heh... 

The cakes have been colonizing for a bit over a month now.
