 Heart Problems

for the past couple of weeks, my heart has been hurting. it feels like it's being squeezed but not all the time, it's there for about 5-10 seconds and then goes away for about a minute and then comes back, but sometimes is gone for long periods of time, but it happens everyday.
it's not due to eating, sleeping, or anything i can think of except maybe stress. i can carry a lot of background stress and not realize it for a while.
it may also be that i lost some weight right before the holidays but i did it the healthy way and lost it slowly. so i dont think that's the problems. im 5' 11" and weight 150 pounds.
a month ago i was feeling great and lately i've been feeling strange in some way. tired, but i cant sleep.
should i see a doctor or wait a bit longer? i do have health insurance. any of you ever have this problem?

have you been exercising?
sometimes my heart aches a little bit so i go running..
getting your heart rate up a couple times a week is very important

no, i stopped exercising. ill go run tonight though. i was thinking about that today.

Are you sure its your hear and not your chest muscles?
I've had that pain before and was freaking out cause I thought it was my heart, but then found out it was just my muscles directly above my heart that I strained at work.
It'll only hurt if you make certain movements.
Try moving your arms around and see if the pain comes when you do it.

I would go to the doctor. If you have insurance, its better safe than sorry.

Howd you find out,
Sometimes when i take Adderall I feel a pain near my heart when I crash... i was worried that I'm fucking up my heart...
The next morning when i move my arms... the pain hurts again... only when imove my arms in certain motions tho..
could it be muscles? not my heart??? I'm worried,
cause a very long time ago, my buddy had access to mounds of free pure coke and we used to chill out all night talking snuffin that horrible stuff, my heart sometimes would hurt afterward.. but wasn't as bad as with the adderall and i never had the ARM trigger thing...
the only simularity is an occasional heart jumping sensation that made me stay away from coke... unhealthy shit....
