Presumably, new ideas arise (created, arranged, what have you) in the mind by means of an external source, be it verbal conversation or textual media.

If these sets of stimuli can be artificially re-created in the mind--through perceptual and neuro-anatomical manipulation--could information about the world possibly be deliberately transmitted in a laboratory? Controlled more efficiently or quickly? Selectively?

To me it seems the bulk of learning is too tied up in prior experience and individual biology to be a candidate for future technological re-creation. I would think that even tiny amounts of information becomes grouped into neural networks and becomes associated with emotional and semantic experience, unique for every brain.

Possible? Why or why not.

Language, for being so intertwined in novel arrangement and creativity, seems to be learned in much the same way as math equations and empty symbols.

"Artificial Grammar Learning is a paradigm of study within cognitive psychology. Its goal is to investigate the processes that underlie human language learning, by testing subjects' ability to learn a made-up language in a laboratory setting. The area of interest is typically the subjects' ability to detect patterns and statistical regularities during a training phase, and then use their new knowledge of those patterns in a testing phase. The testing phase can either use the symbols or sounds used in the training phase or transfer the patterns to another set of symbols or sounds as surface structure."
