PF Tek Jars: Stalled? (PICS)

Hi all...first grow here, using the fungitek PF Tek For Simple Minds. I inoculated 6 BRF jars on Thanksgiving, and have had them sitting in an incubator that has constantly held between 78-80 degrees F (monitored using a hygro/thermometer which has given me my max and min temps). Three weeks later, the jars appear ready, except the bottoms of the jars seem to have stalled for a week with no apparent further colonization. Do you more experienced posters think I should pull them out and give them some light to initiate the pinning? Is that as colonized as theyll get? Pics below (hopefully--if I can figure out how to post them!) Thanks in advance for all your words of wisdom!

The bottoms always take the longest, because the center of the cake is colonizing right now.
Wait until they are all white, and then give them an additional week (or it will take a week in your FC anyway, because it needs the week no matter where it is.) Give it the extra time in the jar.

I haven't seen any progression on the bottoms in a week? Is that to be expected? First time so I really have no frame of reference here. Thanks!

a lot of moisture collects at the bottom of the jars due to gravity, thats why they take longer to colonize also if you packed youre jars that can be a factor too

Yeah, they are really, really moist. It concerns me because the vermiculite on top is pretty moist so I'm worrying about contam. I was really careful to avoid packing them but it looks like they got compressed down anyways. I guess I just need to be more patient though. Assuming it takes another week to finish the bottoms, is a 4 week colonization time really unusual? I keep reading in other threads about 2-3 weeks tops.

I had some jars stall out about around the bottom of the jars.It was on my second grow and I think what I did wrong was not add enough water and since my heat source was coming up from the bottom of the jars I think I actually dried out the substrate at the bottom of my jars. But I his case he looks pretty good I'd say,Like nubbie said just give it a little more time and you should be 100% be for to long.

man I had a 5lbs substrate bag that took almost 2 months to fully colonize, but when it finnaly came around it was well worth the wait.

I'm really hoping they speed up a bit. I have around 6 grams cubes waiting for me for a Christmas night trip, but I'm really hoping I squeak some out for New Years eve too! Thanks for all the advice everyone!

If it stalls and doesn't colonize all the way you can cut the uncolonized part out with a flame-sterilized knife.
