While I'm not sure how I feel about people's grave sites being tampered with (part of me feels like they should be respected, and then part of me feels like "whatever, big deal") I've gotta say this is really cool.
At best, it will cause people to think.

I'm in the same boat, conflicted about it. I have been studying the Celtic culture for a very long time and feel very close to that one. Celtic barrows are dug for archeology as well. It is good that we gain information from the dig, but that same 'grave-robbing' concept comes to mind, a desecration of the grave of an ancient wise man or shaman. But then, they didn't write things down, they didn't take pictures to create a documentary of life, so we have to learn somehow. conflicted .....
and way cool to know that is where it all started. If the ancients hadn't smoked it, it wouldn't still be a popular pastime.

Very cool. Nice to know that even 2,700 years ago they were still trying to make sinsemilla and remove all of the male plants, so they must have had quite a bit of experience with cannabis. Reading about archaic cannabis growing techniques by various cultures would be a really interesting subject to delve into.

Someone should tell these guys that if they put that herb in a plastic bag all the trichomes are going to get stuck to the side and you'll never get them off.

Really, although it seems counter-intuitive, the further you go back in history the better chance that some given individual was your ancestor.
The total world population in 1000 bc was only 50,000,000.
So you could be relatives!
