How easily our hopes were shot down. I don't think anyone is foolish enough to believe that Marijuana is getting legalized anytime soon, but decriminalization should still be in the cards.

This was answered by his administration though, we need to continue in our efforts, only next time, louder and stronger. The word has been spread, spread it further. I even got my VERY conservative parents to vote for the medical marijuana proposal in Michigan this year, so nothing is completely out of reach.

i guessed it long before...but i voted anyways.
may as well just have said 'NO' like I thought, and go no deeper into it, just like he did.
At least an explanation of his full standpoint on it would have been nice.

This is the type of thing you wouldn't expect to even come up until a second term.

Yeah, I don't see how anyone expected anything different. If you did, then you were mislead by someone or misinformed.
It's not a waste though, these things do send a message. It was an issue brought to him by the people, and there was an answer given. With the way the movement is gaining steam the last decade, this can only be fuel for the fire.
I think next round should be a question a little more answerable by the administration.

Yeah I mean don't look at it as a waste of time guys, strides are being made. Hell look at the amount of states that have accepted MM, as well as though who have decriminalized it.

it needs to be more open ended, so it requires an explanation, yes/no questions were the worst to ask in this situation.
Something like:
"What is your stance on decriminalizing marijuana federally? Why or why wouldn't you have it decriminalized with the amount of research and findings proving that it does help sick and dying people live out the rest of their days in a better way." "What is your stance on legalizing marijuana for responsible adults federally, and what arguments do you have against it?"
or something along those lines.

flood your representatives on the state and federal level, flood the shit out of obama, jam every source of contact he has until the answer is sufficiet, snail mail, email, phone calls, what ever it takes, submit it to every source of media you possibly can, get the campaign of unpopularity running
I voted against him and that other guy that was on Sarah Palins ticket because I knew he's just more hot air
"President-Elect Obama
or To Whom it May Concern
as a US citizen I honestly dont give a damn what you are or are not interested in, I'm interested in you fulfilling your promises of Change, This change in government you continued speaking about would include listening to the people, even prior to taking office you've already shown a blatant disregard for what WE THE PEOPLE want. Address this issue, stop blowing us off like the rest of the washington insiders."
write what ever just demand that that change needs to start with him and you're tired of politicians blowing smoke

Every other question got a paragraph response and then we get a lousy sentence. I expected more for the answer, and I expected more from this whole event in general.
Disappointed.

I think there might be another open for questions thing. If there is you should pose a question like this

I think a one sentence response to such a popular question is insulting. They should at least explain their point of view and the reasons behind it.

I didnt, I said it from the start, I've said it a hundred times that he has no intention of aiding in anything to do with drugs, it's time the people started making the shit happen... remember, obama is part of the same bullshit he spoke against, make him choke on his words
