Reliable weather forecast?!
    #9401418 - 12/09/08 05:39 PM (15 years, 3 months ago)

Hey shroomerites!

So this weekend, I'm journeying home from central ME to the Boston area, and I am trying to decide when the best time is to get out of here.  I can leave as early as Thursday afternoon or as late as Friday evening.  There is a snow storm that is supposed to hit at some point either Thursday or Friday... so my question for all of you:

Is there a reliable weather forecasting site you all refer to?  Do you have any preferred or warnings against any forecasters?

I hope there's some shroomerite partying going on within the next month around the area, because I'd love to see everybody's faces.  If not, I'm sending love to you all over the holiday season. :snowman: :santaclaus: :snow:

I usually just go to The Weather Channels website (weather.com).  But your most accurate predictions won't really be until within about 24 hours.  Weather predictions is still hit-n-miss even with all our modern technology when you get more then 48 hours out.  And the forecasts for 4 or 5 days out are almost just guesses.

I use Weather Underground, and find it to be pretty accurate for my location
