Well, the story is simple. LK mailed me some cubie and pan subb prints last year, having a horse eating grass all day in my backyard, i thought about a regime of spores. So, i gave the horse one square cm of spores per day divided in two doses, a piece of bread was used to carry the spores, sometimes apples or carots were used. This regime was used during the last two months of the winter and the first month of spring with some intervals. The idea was good and if the wheater helped i think i should have them long time ago, it didn't rain since the beggining of spring untill 2 weeks ago, i still want to see the cubies or perhaps is too late for this year, i also gave the horse some full prints of mexican and malaysian indoor cubes , anyway, better late than never . I'm sorry for this pics, i had to scan the mushrooms because i don't have a camera right now but i'll promise i'll try to take some habitat pics, believe me, it's a beautiful place the one i got here. A pic of all of them, this is a A4 size scanner, so you can imagine they size.
All prints came black, i had some variations, the bigger ones on top have a redish stem, where some of the smaller have a redish color only half bellow the stem and some the stem is white, some caps of the bigger ones were all flat, others some more conical and others more rounded. About the ring near the edge of the cap, it was clearly visible on allmost all of them when they were picked but it was allmost vanished on some when i scanned them.
I was also thinking about the ones on the bottom left about being subbs, their caps are a bit longer and conical than the others, another aspect is that the edge of the cap was incurved. Here's a closer look,
Anyone ? And a last pic using a white towel, the colors are more vivid here but you can see better the stems,
Thanks !!!!

They were wild prints, used just for the purpose . I expect more from this field, it puts up really huge mushrooms, mostly pan. antillarum, pan campanalatus and pan. fonissecii, some lepiotas, pholiotas and coprinus also grow in it. As the weather is usually warn during the winter, perhaps they can grow once and then just like pans already do.

Now that is some cool shit right there!!!! Sorry I didn't respond earlier, computer crashed and has been down for a week now. This gives me hope that just maybe the cubensis spores I've been feeding the horses in my subb field just might take, that'd be awesome.
Great job MAIA!

Yes, I remember once my Cow was arrested for growing Mushrooms. All he had to say for himself was MOO. I was soo ashamed of him. I mean really, how could he grow mushrooms without telling me. That's not even cool. It took some time, but I finally convinced the jury that my cow was insane and didn't know what he was really doing..... Heh

Ahhh so thats how you do it! I have a spot that produces lots of Pan Subbs. My horse pasture is quite close to the spot, and I was wondering how I could sorta transfer the subbs to a new spot. Can you run me throuhg exactly how you did it? I'd appreciate it alot man. Thanks!!
