ive been meaning to do this for a while but i finally got a scanner and so i scanned all my drawings from various trips
i figured this would give a good glimpse into the artistic mind on psychedelics
the first series is from my first experience which was on 2c-e which was about four years ago
it completely changed the way i thought about art and everything else for that matter
this was the first one i made trying to capture what i had just gone through walking through a field:
this one was when i was deep into it and could hardly draw:
this one was my first journey across a paper with a pen:
this one was trying to capture how i felt at the time:
another journey:

i think this was supposed to be a tree:
this is my favorite because its true:
this was when i was entering into the coming down/clarity phase:
the next series is from various acid trips
most of them i lost but i managed to find some
i think this one started as a plan for different paintings i was going to do:
this one is by far the most maniacal piece i made. the story behind this one is that i was trying to understand why when i draw tripping, i have more flow and sort of magically make good art. think of it as a proof of sorts:
after i made it i ran into my mother's room and started raving about how it could teach people how to draw. i had to lie and say i took too much adderall
just some notes:
this was the beginning of my 'how to draw' notes which i guess i gave up on:
the great things about these is that they explain so much about the tripping mind or at least my own
i figured i should share them with you all

wow. those are really sick man, at first they look like you were just starting to trip then once you get farther down they get better. i really like them

My roommate used to do drawings like those when tripping - I still have a few of them in my drawyer . Actually your drawings and his have a lot in common. Funny thing.

well I drew a bit yesterday on a lowish dose of Panaeolus cyanescens.
Turned out pretty well, I wish I had a camera =(

neat sketches, i like the one thats supposed to be a tree the best.
my favourite thing to do sober is draw and when i get really high after eating some dirty ol' fungus it just gets better.
i find ideas flow from my mind to pen really easy when im tripping on mush
not so much on lsd though

This is from my first acid trip of this last summer. I had an incredibly erotic experience with a tangerine

That bottom part was basically expressing what I had in mind, but I realized I was way too fucked up to actually draw it and write something cool inside of it.
