Comic project for school

The Assignment: Pick a poem or lyric and illustrate it in a five panel (or more) comic book style page spread.

I chose the song "Province" by TV on the Radio feat. David Bowie.
I made it using Photoshop and Illustrator.

That's an awesome subject for a project! I would totally be into that. What major are you pursuing?

Also, I really like your comic idea with how you portrayed monkeys evolving through mushrooms and the onset of the mushroom trip with the coming of a storm, and the beautiful feelings afterwards. As if you just overcame all your fear and totally embraced love which is represented by the adult monkey hugging the first.

Awesome though. Did you use illustrator to draw the lines and fill the color in with gradients from photoshop?

I'm working on a Game Design & Development Bachelors. This class is one of my first and is more geared towards graphic design.

That makes me feel pretty damn good hearing you nail it on the head like that. Exactly what I was trying to convey.

I used photoshop to draw the lines, then put them into Illustrator to smooth/straighten them out, then colored them back in photoshop.
