Mainly just for cobweb. It really has no other purpose in this hobby.

What MHbound said! I also use a very diluted form to mist my Bulk substrates. I get the peroxide cap and use one cap full to a 12 ounce spray bottle. That's just something that I do. Don't know if anyone else does it.

Yea, I do that to help prevent any cobweb from even getting a jump on my casing...I do it with cakes every few months when I show someone else how to grow.

Right now I just use very dilute h2o2 in my spray bottle when i mist...I'm building a poor mans pod with hydroton though and ill be using a lot more of it in the water i put in the pod...

I read about someone saying they used it to mist the room or glovebox before inoculation, instead of Oust. They claimed it worked good, but I'm not sure if I believe it.

i own a good mushroom culture book(psilocybin mushroom handbook) it describes how to use h202 after pressure cooking grain and agar to prevent contamination.

That doesn't make sense. H202 can't do what pressure cooking at 15psi for 90 minutes does. I'd like to know what that book says also.

He said it helps to prevent after pressure cooking. I agree to a certain degree. It definitely will kill off cobweb, and I think it would help prevent others slightly, but that's it.
Don't use it straight though. Use a 1:10 mixture or so.

i use a spray bottle with about an equivilent mixture to spray the inside of my poor mans fc and to mist my casing. it does something for me, even if its only an obssesive compulsive action, it works for me. actually ive read hours and hours of mushroom stuff here and on other sites and I'm sure i read it somewhere and just started doing it.

Air Sterilization: they recommend spraying diluted bleach after wiping the surfaces with alcohol
H2O2: add 6ml for 1cup of dry grain 12ml for 2.5cups dry grain 80ml for 7-10c of dry grain
after pressure cooking the grain allow to cool just before inoculation add the 3% h2o2 to the grain, mix well, and add agar culture
it also says to add about 8ml h2o2 to 1L of already pressure cooked agar. these plates are used for more stable storage of cultures and must be inoculated with mycelium or when cloning because spores wont germinate in h2o2.
it recommends add hydrogen peroxide to all grain based substrates
hope this helps

There's lots of bogus shit out there from previous years. After pressure cooking, the grain or agar is sterile. There is no rational for using an anti-fungal chemical when you're trying to grow fungi. Proper sterile procedure is the way to avoid contaminants.
I'd also recommend against using peroxide in any dilution for misting. Peroxide harms mycelium, and there's no reason to weaken your mushroom mycelium with amounts that are too small to kill contaminant spores anyway.
Use peroxide at 3%, which is what it's sold at in the USA to control cobweb mold. RR
