In a Very Warm Climate, Will Cubs Fruit Outside in Winter?
    #9257648 - 11/16/08 10:51 PM (15 years, 4 months ago)

I live in a very warm, arid climate.  I doubt Cubs would
ever survive here in late spring, summer, or early fall.

Will cubs colonize and fruit outdoors in the winter when
properly warm and humid or will other natural triggers
prevent the cycle from working as it does indoors?

That will be your main problem. How arid is arid? How many days of rain per month in the winter?

I *guess* you've answered my question.

I am really most concerned about Mother Nature having ways of
affecting the growth and fruiting cycle that have no affect when
cycling indoors.  I will have to cycle in the winter here.  Spring/
Summer/Fall simply wouldn't work, or would decrease my chances
exponentially.  The local high temp reading today was 94F!  The
humidity is now reading about 21%.

I am certain I will have to line the patch and cover it with some form
of humidity dome.
