Thanks fishfarmin :smile: These are definately way more thikc and fleshy than the ones I grew out on straw.  Shoulda taken pics before I picked 'em off the top of the stump.  The ones growing on the side are the second flush.

korkas...no dowels ..nothing. These babies just showed up about a week ago.  Funny because at first when they where forming primordia, I thought i had to have been spores from my straw grows that had landed and took over the stump.  But alas, this is not the case because I was growing yellow, blue and pnik oysters.  These are most definately pleurotus ostreatus, just appearing naturally.  Interestingly enough, this stump has inky caps all over the roots, and a few ling chi looking polypores on it too.  I did however smash some hericium into one edge with hopes of it growing next year.  Maybe I'll have like 5 species growing from one stump :cool:

Nice! Those look GREAT!!!  Ever try cloning a wild strain like that? If the fruiting bodies are any indication, it looks like a super healthy strain.  :smile:
