If it has a low amount of sunflower seed it is better, but basically any kind works.
For info on jars give the search function a go, this question is asked quite often and you will find loads of useful information there.

the WBS i use has sunflower seeds in it ... lots of them actually but after it gets done soaking 90% of them are left on the top floating anyways and the extra little bit isn't harmful

It's only better because you don't have to take as many out.

I've never found any WBS that hasn't worked. Although some very cheap WBS is basically just cracked corn which I'm not a fan of at all. Some WBS may contain fungicides that would not be good but that would only be in the most expensive kind which I don't think you'd be going for anyways.
What your looking for a high millet content. Because sunflower seeds float it's easy to just pour them out when you are rinsing but they are waste.

Yes, Walmart has it. What brand to buy? The cheapest brand. You can find your jars there also. Make sure you get WIDE MOUTH jars.

Why do you say wide mouth jars only?
I've always used shouldered jars for WBS without a problem. I haven't seen wide mouth quart jars.

Yeah, I'd get the cheapest. I was just browsing their online shop, and the selection was non existent so I expect more if I go by there... Home Depot had WBS, 40lbs for 16... So cracked corn is bad? And Wal Mart has been out of Jars for around a month here, I actually found some Quart sized at Publix grocery store.

Cracked corn isn't desirable but it doesn't ruin the WBS if a little is in there. I find it leads to clumping and makes finding the right moisture content harder which all just leads to a slower colonization. Just don't buy a bag that's $5 for 40lb thinking it's a dead and realize it's basically just cracked corn labeled wild bird seed.

I went to publix and picked up some Jars pretty cheap, $9 and some change for 12 quarts, also came across some wild bird seed it was $4 for 10lbs. It just said the ingredients were rilo, millet and black oil sunflower seeds, that sound good? does it actually list cracked corn?
