Hello all. Let me start by saying that I am a newbie here, although Ive been reading through these forums for about 6 months. I have been wanting to take up mycology for some time, but my roommates are extremely paranoid about getting spores sent to our house from a known spore vendor (one of them is on probation and doesnt want to risk getting suspicious packages sent to our shared house). Ive assured them that spores are legal, and there is probably nothing to be concerned about, but theyre completely against it anyhow. Funny thing is, they dont at all object to me "studying" spores at the house, they just want to eliminate any risk of being caught/watched. Weve been close friends for a long time, and I certainly dont want to disrespect their wishes- going behind their back is not what Im about.
So, with all of this said, Im hoping there are some kind folk out there who can help a brother out by donating a spore print or two to my cause. Id be willing to send a SASE, or even a few bucks in return. Please don't flame me about this...I'm not here looking for handouts, I'm just looking to keep things cool amongst old friends. Thanks!

Just send it your friends house, or an abandond house and pick them up later.

Really?

Sporeworks sends theirs marked as "Microscopy Kit" or something to that effect. Mentions nothing at all about spores on the box. You have to actually look at the syringe label to know what it is.

get a po box. if your friend is on probation his probation officer can get a search warrant and come anytime they feel like it. i wouldnt grow unless i had my own place.
