Hey guys this is my first time to grow mushrooms and i thought i would start out easy by getting a grow kit for my first run and then i will hopefully go on to do it 100% on my own. i have bought a Myco box grow kit and also some Psilocybe Cubensis "b+" spores.
i have injected the spores and all is sealed up, the issue i am having is i dont really know where to store this now. as it says to keep it between 28- 30
I was just wondering if some of you guys could tell me where some of the best places to store these around the home are.
Currently i have it sitting on top of my sky box which gets quite hot in my bedroom with a black tee shirt over the top. but i am afraid that its not going to be hot enough.
i am sorry if there is a post with this already i did look but couldnt see .
Thankyou (sorry if i offended anyone with my grow kit, im just a n00b)

Room temp is generally just fine. Heat helps speed it up and if you get it too hot it will increase the chance of getting a contam.
You're at the waiting game part of it all.

I'd recommend getting a thermometer of some sort to be sure.

28C(82F) is a bit high imo. 30C(86F) is definitely high
I'd try to keep it between 24-27C (75-80F)

Just get a digital thermometer. You can probably get one at a dollar store.
Cheers!

In the states thermometers are sold just about everywhere, but any gardening supply or home improvement store should have them. The digitals with the external sensor is ideal so you can have the sensor inside the incubation area and the readout somewhere more convenient.
