Is mycelium in LCs supposed to change color and float when it dries out???

One of my LC's has some green shit stuck to the glass right at the water line. It appeared after a stirring session, apparently the vortex from the stirrer caused the water level to rise and subsequently deposit some mycelium on the glass. A few days later I look at it and notice that the mycelium that is stuck to the glass has turned green, and there are little white specs floating on the top of the water.
Is it possible that the mycelium just dried out, and that's why it is greenish or is it contams and I'm screwed?
BTW has this ever happened to anyone?

I got a pic for you.
This jar is seriously neglected, like 3 weeks on a shelf with no stir, so i stired it... here it is step by step. in the middle toward the end it looked all brown and whatnot. but LC is hard to tell with most times

Ok, well to get LC like I have you have to have a more beneficially diverse nutrient base for your mycleia. not that karo or honey alone does not work, cause it does, just it dont work as well as it could
