Mycelium growth questions

So this is my second time attempting to grow Psilocybe cubensis, my first time trying I wasnt as sterile as I needed to be so of course it didnt work out. So after reading alot more on mushrooms I am trying again but I have a few questions, I am using the brown rice flour and vermiculite combo...I already put my spores in my jars and they are 11 days into growth. Now I am starting to notice mycellium growing in the jars...some alot more than other some seem to be growing slower so could this be from not enough heat? I have 4 large jars plus 2 small jars sitting in an aquarium...filled at the bottumn is about an inch and half of vermiculite and under that is two heating pads. I only had one small heating pad in there...the heating pad is for a small creature like a turtle so it really doesnt put out to much heat, today I put a large one in there for human use but on the lowest setting to produce more heat. Before it was around 75 degrees in there now with the new pad in there I will need to check in a few hours but I am sure it will bump it up into the high 80s atleast. So using these two heating pads and bumping my heat up to 84-87 degree be the thing to do and just continue to sit on it? Oh and the aquarium is covered in a garbage bag so it is completely dark in there.
Thanks all in advance!

Way to hot temp should be 74-77 degrees.. Your prob could be moisture content also it could take up to 4 weeks to see any growth

Stay away from the heating pads unless you live in a place where the room temperature is in the 60's Even then, Heat the room and not the containers. 87 is kind of high when you consider the inside of the jars will be in the 90's. You might want to do a bit more reading in my opinion.

Getting temperatures up above room temp gets dangerous. Sure, you get faster growth if you get it right on, and keep the conditions ideal...BUT with those higher temps also come more ideal conditions for contaminates...Room temp is the way to go.

I will stick with keeping the room warm...I do live in Montana and at the moment it's snowing and staying around 35-45 degree's during the day and getting around 2 at night so yes it can easily get under 60 in my small apartment...I keep my heat off and as low as possible to save money and working during the day I don't keep a constant tempature this is why I resorted to heating pads. Thanks for the info

get like a plug in heater and set it near your jars.. I put pics of my incubator.. It's set to 75 degrees.. U want a heater like that near where u keep your jars my incubator stays at 76.1-76.5 degrees 24/7.. I suggest a heater because it is always so cold in your house and u want to save money on the heating bill

You seem to be mixing up your terrarium with an incubator. Try making a Tub-in-Tub incubator, there are many good teks for them on this site, and wont cost you more than 30 bucks.
Like you, my friend's room never gets above 60 and often gets down to 40 at night, so he needs to keep his jars somewhere warmer. A Tub-In-Tub incubator keeps your jars at a constant temperature with no worrying. try 75 or so.
Research how to make an aquarium too, you shouldnt have vermiculite on the bottom of anything.

Dont bother with incubators. If your room gets cold then heat the room.
Colinise at about 75F. The difference between colinising at 75F and 80F is minimal.

Running a Tub in Tub incubator at 75 degrees raises an energy bill maybe a couple of dollars a month. Keeping a horribly insulated house at 68 (not even at 75 where they will colonize a little faster) will raise an energy bill at least 100 dollars a month if it's 30 degrees outside.
If you live in an apartment or in Florida, don't bother with an incubator. If you live in Alaska, you'd be crazy not to make one.
