hello all! i have had a sore throat for two days now, and i have a fever now.......tried some home remedy's that didnt work......honey, water, lemon juice, and some cayenne powder....... any suggestions?

okay, i'm kidding. try gargling with warm salt water. it tastes like hell, but works great. it's only a temporary fix though.

it's really not that bad. just plug your nose and gargle for a little bit. the more you do it the less bad it tastes as well, you kind of get used to it.
you can still try semen and pickle juice though, it's always good to have options open.

gargling with cayenne pepper is great for sore throats. not only relieves the pain, but can actually kill strep throat

If Ive got a throat infection i use - Fresh pineapple juice (diluted down a bit) and gargle with cayenne/lemon/garlic and cider vinegar all in the same cup it works a treat, also you could try sucking on a clove of garlic for an hour or so every so often its got anti bacterial properties.

stay away from dairy...
in my past experiences it has increased the mucous output of my throat a lot when i'm sick.
drink lots of water!
lots of vitamin C too!

That's the master cleanse, not a remedy for a sore throat 
Anyway I've had a sore throat for days too and the only thing that's helping is cough drops, and I've been drinking 2+ gallons of water a day as well as taking airborn and other vitamin crap.
