drying in the crisper?

Does drying in the fridge crisper work? I am fan drying for 24-48 hrs, but still not cracker dry. I will get desiccant if need be, but does anyone here finish drying in the crisper?

I was going to wrap in paper towels and put them in the crisper.

my crisper is just labeled crisper it doesn't do anything, in my case no you can dry your shrooms in your fridge, maybe your fridge has some sort fan attachment to a draw?

The crisper compartment is sealed so that your veggies don't dry out, and retain their "crispiness"

EXACT opposite of what your trying to do.

Milk crate with a box fan on top. ALLLLLLLSSSS ya need.
