Never even really been outside of Virginia too much, only been to Tennessee since I even started tripping. I plan to put a few more places on my tripping map in the future though.

In random woods a few times, including in the woods near UConn around a secluded lake with no houses around it. Several times during the summer and once during a mighty snowstorm - we ran around on the ice (made sure it was solid) for about six hours.
At the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, as well as the Guggenheim and Cooper Hewitt Museums. This was my first and second time tripping, visited all three on two occasions exactly a year apart. The best artwork in the Met was in the gift shop
At the town hall on election day 2004. I didn't vote for Bush. It was really hard filling out the forms, and people were staring.
In the dining hall back in college, tucked some 'shrooms under the cheese in their crappy pizza.
In the back of a friend's car on a long trip, the vibrations coming through the seat made me feel like my whole body was having an orgasm during the peak.

I tripped while walking around NOLA. We were to scared to go to Bourbon Street, don't think I could handle that on LSD.
I've also tripped in Tenn. and Michigan, but those were festivals.
Other than that, just good ole texas.

On a bus which dropped us off in a neighborhood called walkerville which has tons of beautiful trees and greenery! And in my friends room which had the floor covered in mattresses which we just rolled around on haha.
I've also spent an entire trip in about a 11 x 11 block area near my house. The craziest visual I've had on mushrooms was at this intersection, it was warping everywhere and crossing the street was a challenge haha.

Question,
Why Arizona, not that it’s a bad place to trip. I’m just curious as to why you named it out all places.

I tripped one time at the outdoor mall and it was just beautiful, one of the best days of my life. There was a car stopped next to us on the way home. My friend opened the door and puked everywhere at the crosswalk, with everyone watching, it was BADASS!!!!!!

well tripping or not, I've always wanted to go to Arizona, be a tourist and see the Grand Canyon and the Petrified Forest.
But.. as far as tripping goes, there's just something mystical or spiritual and mind expanding about having such an experience in the Arizona desert. I think I'd feel more connected to nature and to the history of the natives and their spiritual rituals. I don't know a whole lot about Arizona's history, but reading Carlos Castenada kind of influenced me in this too, even though his experiences take place in Mexico mostly.
Eh, I have my reasons, but they're hard to verbalize. I just want to do it damnit!

And I'm sure there are other places besides Arizona that could be just as good.

Word.
My first trip ever was in the middle of the desert where I grew up. As a kid, I developed a keen sense of direction wondering around aimlessly collecting rocks. By the time I tripped, I knew the area like the back of my hand enabling me to venture deep onto a ridge to watch the sun set, and travel back by moonlight. That’s why I noticed your post, because the desert is so special to me.
The Arizona and Mexico deserts are one in the same IMO. A stupid invisible line can’t influence the spiritual nature of it.
I personally find the New Mexico desert much more enchanting, though I am a bit biased as that’s where I grew up.
I hope you get a chance to see it one day.
