So anyone have some good experience with azurescens in hunting them early. I found them easily last year in the dunes and I want to make a 2 hr trip down there. Is there a pretty good possibility that they will be growing there after a few more days of good solid rain? I remember seeing post of people finding them about this time, and everything says late sep is when they start. Anyone actually find them this early. How does the fruiting requirements compare to cyans? Thanks guys

I don't have a direct answer for you but you are welcome to use the search engine and research it yourself.  That way will increase your knowledge of both mushrooms in a way that the quick and easy answer never can.  For the most part, the parameters are the same.  Geography is the primary difference between the species.

Does the temp really need to go below 50 for them to fruit or do you think they would fruit around 50. Ive done hrs and hrs of searching that is how I found them last year, but didnt start this early.
