I was in great need of a job asap, and just got the call from Lowes just a min ago.......wanna thank all shroomery people for the thought and care that has gotten me through this stressful situation.

What are you going to be doing? I used to work for the now closed HQ operating forklifts and the like.

customer service manager.....nothing special, but my unemployment ran out two weeks ago and i was in dire need of a job!!!!!.....money is a great thing to have!!!!! thanks. kat

That's a prett decent job to start off at. You must have prior management experience, or something similar, right?

yes, at my last job, i managed over 150 people, i was a floor supervisor at a company that made door seals for Volkswagen.
Plus my first job ever right after high school was at wally world, i was a customer service manager there too....

Well, with that kind of experience, you shouldn't be too surprised that you got the job that you did. What if a better job op comes up in the next little while? Are you going to leave Lowes? I would. Lowes is just a filler job imo, but you may be different. I hated working at HQ. Not my cup of tea.

yes...it is just a filler job, i just finished school, and trying to get going with what i want to do for the rest of my life...........but my pockets are empty and i am almost out of money. This job couldn't have come at a better time!!!! whoooo hoooo!

i need it too....unemployment is such a joke, i have been on it for two years while i have been back in school.......i will finally be able to take a well deserved vacation.

Heh,I just quit my job at lowes last week.I was merely a cashier though.
congrats!
Getting a job at just the right time is a great feeling.Then you work for a few weeks and life becomes just as miserable as it was during unemployment.In my case anyway.
