Those look more like Panaeolina foenisecii to me.  You said the print is black.  Do you have a picture of that?

How do you tell the difference between foes and subbs?

look at the stems. on subbs there will be little line like fiber-ish things spiraling around and up the stem. on foes they will just run straight up. subbs also have the characteristic ring around the edge of the cap most of the time. the main thing though is subbs have jet black sporeprints foes- dark brown.

I had 4 people judge and say they're jet black. It wont hurt us to eat them... and the vote says, eat them. What do you think? And how many would be good to eat?

Keep in mind that subbs are weak so you will probably have to eat them all to feel something subbs tend to be a little weaker but some people report their area as having subbs as strong as cubes. and with cubes you need 1dry 10 fresh to feel base line effects 2 dry 20 fresh to feel decent effects 3dry 30 fresh you reaaaally feel with cubes.

Also subs and subbs are two different mushrooms Psilo subs and Pan subbs

Good luck and have fun

Note the difference and also note that it takes dense prints to tell black from dark brown, especially if you have little experience with this.

My boyfriend ate 6 caps last night and had a level 1 trip with big pupils and everything, so they're def. subbs.
