San Pedro --trying to settle a friendly dispute

my friend and I are in a dissagreement about a mescaline subject. so we chose to ask the community.
will you be able to get anything from eating san pedro seeds?
Has anyone tried it?
according to one of our views the theory is that if you can obtain alkaloids from seeds of other plants and cacti y not with san pedro. but when we looked it up on the net and forums to our surprise we havent found anyone that tried extracting or consuming from seeds not even as a tea nothing.

I haven't read any actual study or exploration of this subject, but it seems like even if the San Pedro seeds did have alkaloids in them, the amount you'd need to ingest would be astronomical. The cactus itself has a very low concentration of mescaline, to the extent where you need to prepare pounds of it for a good dose.

Seeds are relatively rare and expensive. I don't believe they contain any mescaline, but the question is really an impractical one, because even if the seeds did contain a bit of mescaline, as mentioned they're expensive to buy and difficult to produce naturally.

I agree with Tchan909 that even if the seeds did contain any mesc that you would have to consume way too many. Considering the amount of cacti needed for a good dose.

If I remember 500mg, it could be lower; as my memory betrays me often.

actually it is about 1kilo produces 3-12 grams of mesc according to erowid. and the lowest high dose is 300-500mg but still i am pretty surprised that no one has really looked into this. I been searching and dead ends each way maybe it is because my web search key words are not pointing me in the right direction but i have not found anyone thats invested time into looking into the mesc content in San Pedro Seeds and contrary to what was mentioned earlier san pedro seeds are pretty cheap to buy.

unless you mean dried san pedro thats not correct. If it was i would be in deep shit. Maybe a kilo of peyote but not a kilo of san pedro. The seeds wont do anything, it would be like eating weed seeds. Just mail order a cactus, boil, strain, reduce, consume and enjoy.

So you are saying that ~1 pound of trich. Pachanoi yields upwards of ~700 milligrams of mescaline, possibly four times that? No. Maybe dried as ive suggested but if not its Totally wrong sorry man. Recheck your figures. Edit - you arent looking at some crazy peruvian torches? Or maybe some super strain?

Yup, maus is right. If you've got fresh cactus yielding that, you need to start making cuttings and distributing that superstrain.

i know what you guys are saying tho it's not like thats what you get every time i figure these findings are based off the idea that all things being the same which they aren't cuz i know and read that san pedro and even peruvian torch vary from plant to plant. but still does not answer the question about the seeds. wondering if anyone found anything on it or if anyone has tried.
