can someone give me a detailed description of p. strictipes habitats?
( what are common places in neighborhoods to look? lawns, fields? sportsfield?, do they like fertilized places, really well watered?) thanks.

Same habitat as Semilanceata really, If you find libs youll most likely stumble upon Strictipes.

Last season from a haul of around 100g dried, about 2.5g were Strictipes (just as an idea of ratio)

the only significant macroscopic distinction between P. semilanceata and P. strictipes is the texture of the stipe, which is more brittle in P. strictipes, and highly flexible in P. semilanceata. most collections of mine seem to have been a mix of the two, though i've had a consistently higher ratio in washington that chaos has.

If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

well manured pasture.
same habitat as semilanceata as those guys said ^^^
