 Acid Trip

Well it all started with one of my friends picking up 10 hits of acid at a music festival. My friend gave me a call and told me he had some so i went over to his house and got 2 hits. Me and another friend took the gel-tabs and let them dissolve in our mouths at 12pm. The entire day we never saw any crazy patterns or colors or anything. The only thing we experienced was a lot of laughter at stupid things. Was it either really weak acid? Was it not acid? Or simply is it true that it usually takes a first time for lsd to build up in your system before you actually hallucinate? I was very disappointed

my guess is you got ripped off if you paid over five buck a hit
my first time on acid i took two hits and was GONE!!!
it probably wasnt acid but a research chem. as ive heard people
are putting on blotter and gels instead of cid.

well i paid $8 a hit but the person i got it from said next time hes guna give me 2 free hits. What chem you think would just make you laugh at stupid things but it wasn't a euphoric feeling?

im not too sure but ive heard many people getting blotter that made them trip but it wasnt acid

Agreed that it definitely wasn't Acid. When you are on a standard cid dose you will know you are on a standard cid dose 
There won't be any questioning your state as you will pondering many other things over the course of the next 8 to 12 hours
Back to your other question as to what it might be...placebo effect perhaps?

Definitely could be. The entire time the only thing we noticed was laughing at almost anything that was stupid or funny.

Ok so i decided to give the gel-tabs a second shot. End Result = SAME EXACT THING(NOTHING).
Possible conclusions = Isn't actually acid (possibly other chemicals?)
Really weak dose not having strong enough effect?

i had an experience with doses like this last week, took 3, only got the giggles, minor pupil constriction and/or dilation, BARELY got the tip of the iceberg in visuals, just mild color enhancement.
What I suspect is this guy didnt know shit about potency when he handed them to me (They werent even wrapped in foil or anything so I was concerned) but he is now educated and im getting a sheet off him soon :P I think it's real. I do believe that when acid breaks down it will still effect you. I think that impurities like iso-L and lumi-L add speedyness or body load to the trip and when acid loses potency you lose most the visual aspect and get the full heady aspect. those are my theories who knows

I actually agree now that you said that it looses potency if not properly stored. The person that sold me it kept the gel-tabs in a regular baggy not in foil or anything......but he tripped the first time he got from the festival with his friends so i'm just assuming that it lost potency by the time i got them....
