I stole an apple today

...I was in a grocery store...NOT the one I work at. I decided to be daring and I took an apple with me on the way out.
I'm going to make juice out of it.
Reminds me of the time I walked out with a rotisserie chicken, back when I still ate meat.

It was an organic golden delicious.
To be fair, I did buy a few of the same apples. But when I realized how expensive they were, I went back and swiped one.

Well, it's weird...I'm not the type who usually steals things, aside from that shoplifting spree I went on as a angst-filled teen.
In fact I'm partially racked with guilt just bringing it out into the 'open.'
...but a deeper part of me feels a sense of gleeful retribution.
I cannot lie. There had....been a thrill.

wonderful, moth. liberating!
i wouldnt suggest it again though.
its usually when you strike again that they catch up with you,
although i stole alcohol from a specific safeway everyday and didnt get caught for 3 months.
i dont like big-chain grocery stores in the least still, would hate to hear you got caught.

It's funny picturing you stealing apple. Your so tiny and nice, i wouldn't suspect you at all if i worked there.

I ate a seedless grape in the produce aisle the other day. I was like, "Fuck 'em."
This is the first time I have mentioned it to anyone.

I said, "thank you, have a nice night," to the manager on the way out, haha.
I really hope she did.

Buy your produce from a local farmers market, and it wont be so expensive. Its absurd that our food gets driven all the way accross the country and sold to the opposite coast just so they can justify jacking up the price.
I live in florida, and I cant buy real florida oranges at the store, because they ship them to california....fuckers

Last thing I stole was a prisma paint marker that was like 4-5 bucks for one damn market. I just wasn't spending that much on a marker. Granted I bought a pack at the same time.

I've worked for a few grocery stores and I have to say, anything small without a hidden tag can ususally be easily hidden in clothing just by bending down in the middle of and isle and sliding it in your pockets... or just picking something small up and hiding it in your sleaves until you exit the store (this can fool the cameras if you act like your putting it back from where ever you picked it up from). Putting things in your cart under you purse or into your purse and then zipping it up at the checkout works too.... I've seen it all done!
