Weeping is so gay.

“Strengthened by contemplation and study,
I will not fear my passions like a coward.
My body I will give to pleasures,
to diversions that I’ve dreamed of,
to the most daring erotic desires,
to the lustful impulses of my blood, without
any fear at all, for whenever I will—
and I will have the will, strengthened
as I’ll be with contemplation and study—
at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

Pfft, weeping feels good. Weep, and enjoy the emotional cleansing.

Damn sight better than ethnic cleansing.

I don't cry very often, but I think to me it blurs clarity a bit, which I don't like. Although I know it's really just like choosing to paint a picture in water paint or oil, and neither is more true to 'reality'.

But I have definitely had awe inspiring moments that were powerful enough to be very syntheasic, and make me feel emotive- usually in a positive and very directed way (sensationally directed, logically sporadic). Remembering back it's almost like I am my mind as I find a large open cavern of information and run inside excitedly.

It's not man-on-man gay, but I know what you mean. When I first started meditating there was a period of time that lasted about 6 months, I cried at least several times a week. But, if you can relate, my chakras were still pretty fucked up then, so I wouldn't have called it an overwhelming sense of awe. It was a relief/release though.

I'm not a chakra master or anything, but they're much more open, and I often feel "gay", for lack of a better word. It's very nice, though I don't cry as often as I did back then. It reminds me of what it felt like when I was a little kid.

There's magic sparkles everywhere!  :awesome:

I have felt like this before, I have cried many tears of happiness in this summer. When someone dies, I feel like I can go from being really sad to really happy and tears flow equally in both, but with different senses of what is good and bad.

The tears are more of a reflection of the beauty of being happy and sad, its like your brain shows you all these pictures, reminders memories about the life and especially a persons life and you recognize how beautiful it is really!!! I cant recognize whether crying is a rational experience, but I think since water is coming out of the body, its probally the only way to express, these emotions which to me are like an electrical current rushing through the body - whereas the current is always attracted to water. No wonder people who would feel to much shame to cry, and fear crying, get angry and punch things...wherelse can you get it out on...Like 'they' say One tear is worth 10 punches to the wall....(I dont think they said that, but I just did for all the people who can relate to this.

Powerful music and impossibly epic battle scenes in movies usually give me this feeling of overwhelming awe; sort of like a wave of shivers travelling up my spine.
