Please help identify!
    #8610567 - 07/08/08 11:03 PM (15 years, 8 months ago)

All of the following were found in a shroom hunt we went on earlier tonight... Ive never seen or done any magical mushies so I wouldnt really know... if anyone could please help identify what kind these are and if they are deadly? I tried to separate them into little groups of what I thought were somewhat similar...
Thanks for all help in advance <3

The three in the top are definitely Psilocybe cubensis.

The ones in the middle are Panaeolus antillarum.

I have no idea what the bottom one is, the pic is kind of blurry.  It could pass for Amanita vaginata at this distance but its probably something else.

Out of the top 3 the one on the right looks different from the two on the left. It is a good bit thicker and a little taller than the other two. Are you sure all 3 are the same and safe?

The bottom one was found in some thick woods. I didn't figure it was anything special.

Sorry if my second guessing offended you. I just noticed you  were a mod on the forums. So me and my g/f are thinking about splitting the top 3. Is that enough for the two of us?

The top 3 are all Ps. cubensis and are safe to eat, the two on the left are just older and more bruised then the one on the right.  Enjoy!

Yes they are great.

Its not like that, I like the opportunity to discuss what to call each mushroom.

I wish more people would second guess my ID's.
