Cold shock or no?

I haven't seen pins yet, though these trays have only been in the FC for 2 days, would it be harmful to cold shock them now, even though they've already been uncovered?
I want to help initiate pinning!

Yea, don't cold shock a cube. I have done it, and well...It just slows them down, and reduces growth at best. 2 days...You need more like 7-10 days. Just sit back.

you don't even have full colonization. They shouldn't be in a FC. They still have some time to fully colonize. You have just slowed them down even more.

Hmm, okay. Maybe I should keep the light off them for another few days.
without light the FC sits around 100% humidity and 80ish degrees F.

That's fine, but when you say that they are in a FC, I'm thinking that you're starting FAE cycles. That tub needs to get back to high Co2 levels to help with the colonization.

They can be placed in the FC when 90% colonized. Is it ideal?? No, but some people do it. When I have placed trays that were 90% colonized for whatever reason they usually take a few days to switch into fruiting so generally speaking the little uncolonized will colonize. She must have put this tray in way too early. I usually don't do it, but when I did thats what I saw.
Edit: Sorry, SHE.

I was asking a legitimate question because I'm here to learn. Sorry if the answers are obvious to some and therefore "useless"
I'm here to learn and pay it forward when I can, that's all.
