i need to know how i have to set up his enviornment.. how big should the aquarium be? what kind of light and temperature does it need? are there any things that i need to know for getting them to mate?

You want bufo alvarius, if your looking to get high off the dmt. Bufo marinus will not get you high.

Well they do produce Bufotenin -- Which can 'sort of' get you high.

But since they also produce a lot more of other, more dangerous poisons, you're also likely to get sick and/or dead.

But I thought you wanted it as a pet. :rolleyes:

We used to catch toads out of a pond and soak up the foam they produced on their back until we got high. I wonder what kind they were? They were about the size of a small palm.

i dont wanna get high off em.. i just wanna breed em and sell em to the local petshop, cos theyre always short on the bufo species. but since theyre kinda psychoactive i thought someone here could point me in the right direction.

but since alvarius is also a bufo species.. i might try breeding them. the first to get them to breed indoors was a zoo in switzerland. it happened last year for the first time. i might be able to kill 2 flies with one blow. ill get the venom outta em and sell em.. if that wouldnt be a symbiotic partnership i dont know what else would :smile:

ive just read on the web that marinus produces 5meo dmt. it might be a wrong fact tho, since the page was pretty old.

the church of the toad of light also worship and use bufo marinus for their rituals.
