 Surfing on Acid

I took 200 mics of some good LSD the other day, picked up my board, and hit the surf. It was quite fun! The water felt great, and the waves were mesmerizing. Schools of mullet kept on rapidly jumping, and one mullet darted right into my chest when I duckdived a wave. He kissed me. Good times.

I saw a couple of sharks. Where I surf, they are everywhere; you usually just don't see them. I just send them some love, and they leave me alone.

I've surfed on acid but I think I prefer shrooming in the surf--its such a physical, human/animal experience with mushrooms--the patterns in the sea-foam are all time. I've never managed to have a trip coincide with a solid swell AND good conditions... I can only imagine that'd be one of the greatest things ever.
Supposed to be a good hurricane season comin' so we shall see

People are so afraid of sharks. Its actually pretty rare that they attack humans. I've seen sharks before when I was scuba diving.

Apparently 'shrooms were introduced to Australia by surfers from Hawaii. They showed them to the Aussie surfers and then they spread through the surfing community into other groups. Scuba diving on acid would be fucking incredible.

BigP surfed on some Mescaline a while ago; he had a great session.
Yeah, surfing and psychedelics sort of go hand in hand. I didn't know that about the Australian-shroom info, though. That's very interesting!
I love surfing on psychedelic mushrooms, too; it's a great feeling, and it really allows you to connect to the natural setting around you, something that Hofmann was big on.
Sharks are, I think, remarkably smart creatures. You just have to pay them respect, and they'll leave you alone. I think that all animals can sort of "read" a human's mind. I just send out good vibes to my sharky friends. I'm not going to lie, though; sometimes, when I see some 6ft Bull sharks, I do tend to shit my boardshorts!
