Gills: Dark brown
Stem: Thin, light brown
Cap: Brown with lighter brown ring
Spore print: in progress

Don't usually have such a fragile looking stem with Pan. subbs, but otherwise it looks pretty similar.  It's completely up to the spore print now.  If it's jet black, it's a subb, if it is dark brown, it is Paneolina foenisecii.

Spore print is jet black so....
The top of the cap is actually a lighter shade than what shows up in the picture.

youll need to compare it with a permanent black marker to be sure.

also show pics of the comparison.
what alot of people think is black is really dark purple/brown

Does a black cat count as a decent comparison??? :smirk:

I haven't been able to find a black marker but I've used mics, cables and other stuff for comparison and the spores definitely appear black.

I think its Panaeolus subbalteatus.

There are also some Psathyrella species with jet black spore prints, but I wouldn't expect them in horse manure.
