i wanted to say that originally, the metric system, but then i wasn't sure if an ounce was metric or english. i know grams are metric but...
then i googled it, and there were a bunch of different kinds of ounces, and i found 2 that were close to 28 grams but not exactly 28, and decided to just say "mathematical knowledge".
