Dunk for 2 hours!

So i started the dunk! i supose im going to make it for 2 hours... Is it ok? I mwan its enoguht? i know people leave for night! but 2-3 hours would be enough??

Also i put in tap water, it ok>?

Definitely dunk for longer than that, as the mycelium won't have enough time to rehydrate and absorb the water, which defeats the primary objective of dunking. I suggest dunking for 12-24 hours.

Btw, tap water is fine for dunking.

Also i afraid of long dunk because i think the cake will brake aparat! ;(

If your cake is in danger of falling apart it wasn't fully colonized, is my guess. Did it seem like it was going to fall apart?
