How long does an LC stay 'viable'?

After my LC has begun showing signs of growth, can I place it in the refrigerator to slow growth? How long will it survive?

yes you can put it in the fridge but i would let it grow a nice chunk before doing that
and i heard they can last for year or years

Usually LC slow to a stop on their own... Maybe I am wrong?

The mycelia will suck up all available nutrients and slow down to a hault on its own, yes.

I recently "Found" 4 bottles of liquid culture from like a yr ago,I don't even have anywhere to grow at the moment but I'm planning on sucking up a syringe out of each and injecting them into 4 more lc solutions to see if they are viable enough to colonize it when given more nutes to feed upon,I will make a thread when I do it,should be within the next few days providing I have the time :thumbup:
