Blue Meanie dosage for 230 lbs

I have a friend who weighs 230 lbs, and Im sending him about 5 dried grams of potent Copelandia Cyanescens (Blue Meanies). By "sending", I mean mailing; he lives halfway across the country. He has experienced ecstasy on a couple of occasions, some methadone, DXM, and lots and lots of pot – he is not inexperienced with drugs, and I trust he would not freak out under the influence of an intense trip, even on his first time.

We were discussing dosage, and my thoughts were, regarding his weight, that he should begin by taking 1g. This is about double what the average dose for a light-medium experience is, but he weighs a lot more. I saw someone mention on another forum earlier that weight is entirely irrelevant – is this true? I dont want him to freak out his first experience, but I dont want him to waste shrooms either (he shouldnt have to, at least). I thought 1g would be perfect to gauge how they affect him, without being too much.

Opinions?

weight is entirely RELEVANT
dose higher than a gram comon now

Higher than a gram of very potent blue meanies? A gram of the stuff = ~3g+ Cubes worth of psilocybin. A friend of mine had a very intense 7 hour experience, 3 hours of which he spent on his bed laughing at random shit, on 1g of the stuff. But he is definitely on the smaller end of things (can't be much over 100lbs). I know weight will have an impact, I just don't know how much of one (I personally weigh 130, and have never had friends in the 230lb range use shrooms). Does 1.5g sound more appropriate?

And I'm not exaggerating their potency... they're freaking black they turned so blue.

I didnt think that mushroom intoxication correlated to weight.
