I'll have to make an effort to check out Furry Lewis but yeah, I can dig those guys. Of the list you gave especially Son House. Naturally, I'm also way into Skip James, Robert Johnson and Ledbelly.

Old blues is the best blues. If you haven't, you should check out some old Skip James, or Sleepy John Estes.

Nah, Electric blues! That's the best!
I still like the old blues, but I catch myself listening to more electric blues.
Anyone ever listen to XM? Bluesville, Station 74 is the shit. They play every type of blues, and have certain shows for certain types of blues.

If you're into VERY electric blues, check out the North Mississippi Allstars. They even have a few songs with electric washboard solos (Sugartown, Psychedelic Sex Machine, and Snakes in the Bushes I believe all feature electric washboard). They're the best modern incarnation of the blues that I've found.
And their live stuff is great, they're a total jamband.

I'm more into Chicago Blues like Muddy Watters, Bo Diddeley, Buddy Guy, and Snooky Pryor.
I'm only vaguely familiar with the guys you're talking about.

My all-time favorite Muddy Waters album has to be Fathers and Sons, where his backing band includes Paul Butterfield and Mike Bloomfield.

Blind Willie Johnson.
A lot of these names have influenced many good (relative) musicians over the years.
