Ah ha. Earth hour. I grew up being an environmental type freak in a place where the only real thought given to the planet is "how fast can we drill it and kill everything on it" but crap is getting taken too far.

Well, if you take a good long look at the state of the planet (and no I have not seen Gore's movie) from land fills to air pollution, to contaminated water, power grids strained to maximum (and then some) droughts, evolving diseases and a couple of hundred other issues facing our environment, us and the billion people joining us in the next 50 years are looking at some harsh realities.
But yeah, I'm still for it. I just wish I could be eight again and remember when I really believed that we could make a real difference.
