American Spirits really much better?

Well I have decided to start smoking American Spirits since I am not addicted to nicotine yet. Just wondering if they are really as good as they are rumored to be. Like not as bad as a real cigarette. Anyone smoke these here? I am not really addicted to nicotine I just like smoking cigarettes because of the smoking process. I guess I just like to smoke in general.

AS's are really great. It can take a pack or two before you get used to them and really start enjoying them though, so don't go off your first impression.
After smoking AS's, regular cigs just taste like chemicals to me.
But if you're not addicted you should probably stop now...you'll regret starting down the road.

well, I went on a break for about 3 weeks without a cigarette, and I never nicked at all, just really wanted to smoke. Idk its hard to explain. Some would call that an addiction, but I think it is not. Maybe a psychological addiction I guess. But I really don't want to be a cigarette addict now that I realize eventually it is really hard to quit. The thing is though, I have been smoking cigs for nearly 4 years now. At first just a couple a week. But for the past year, at least 4 or 6 a day. And more when messed up. But still I went on a break and really had no trouble with nicotine, I just like the process of smoking. I like the smoke in my lungs. Haha, cigarettes are soo good after a couple drinks to.

I'm the same way =0)
Been smoking for about two years...just a few every day. I really enjoy smoking but wouldn't have a very hard time quitting if I put my mind to it.

typically people smoke tobacco for the flavor, not the smoking process.
on that note i like the periques, organic, and the dark blue rolling tobacco.
i've been off tobacco for a little over a month now, but i'm starting to get into cigars and pipe tobacco.

I've been smoking American Spirits for awhile now, too. I think they're wonderful. Don't be fooled into thinking they're not bad for you, granted you're not having as much of the additives as in regular cigarettes, tobacco still causes cancer, so don't be foolish.
However, I think they're a better smoke--a they're different, and I agree with Cakes in that you have to give them a little bit.
And I also agree with Cakes on the fact that after smoking American Spirits, any other non-additive-free cigarette tastes really chemical.
Hope you enjoy them.

Every long time hopelessly addicted smoker I know once felt the exact same way and many I've personally known to say so. Myself included in the early and mid 1980's. That was how many thousand packs ago? I started my last quiting attempt this past Sunday. I've made it up to a year in the past. You will never see it coming before long after it's too late. That's why it's such a big problem with so many in spite of the bad things. It certainly isn't that they are just that good ya know.
Do yourselves a favor and quit while you can. If you really can. I doubt you will. I don't know when exactly I got hooked so bad. I could take em or leave em I thought for a long time. The thing is you tend not to even seriously try to quit until you start feeling negative health effects. I can guarantee that it won't feel easy at all to quit once that point is reached.
Nobody could tell me shit back then either so...
Wouldn't be right if I didn't at least try though.

Trust me. Stop smoking cigarettes while you still have the willpower to do it.
Keep smoking pot if you love the feel of the smoke. But for god's sake, no cigarettes.

spirits are good for brands, but go to a local shop and buy some fresh rolling tobacco. they should sell it to you by the ounce, and it will be better than anything pre-rolled or in a pouch
