Can mushroom psychosis be prevented

Im not sure i understand this study that talks about how psychosis from mushrooms can be prevented?. Can someone please explain to me what they are talking about, and if psychosis from mushrooms can be prevented in someway?.
I know you dont get psychosis from mushrooms if you are healthy and have no history of mental illness like schizophrenia. You will only get it if you have that or if you eat it alot a couple of times every week, if you take it a month apart you will be good. But are there anyway you can prevent psychosis if you take it alot?. I dont understand what they are talking about in the study below about 5-HT2/D2 etc.
Thanks for your help in advanced.

In order to prove lack of involvement of the dopamine system in humans for the psilocybin mechanism, the Psychiatric University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, conducted psychological research on human subjects. They investigated the current animal hypothesis of the psilocybin mechanism to test weather 5-HT2 and/or dopamine receptors are effected through psilocybin. Their results support that the effects induced by psilocybin results from the activation of a 5-HT2 subtype of serotonin receptor in human subjects as well as in animals. The conclusions were drawn from the study of influence to pretreatment with 5-HT2 antagonist (ketanserin), dopamine receptor D2 antagonist (haloperidol) and mixed 5-HT2/D2 antagonists (risperidone) on psychological effects of psilocybin on healthy human subjects (Vollenweider 1998). The study concluded that "psilocybin-induced psychosis could be completely prevented by either the atypical neuroleptic and mixed 5-HT2/D2 antagonist risperidone or by the 5-HT2 antagonist ketanserin, but not by the typical neuroleptic and D2 antagonist haloperdol" (Vollenweider 1998). This study added substantial evidence to the hypothesis of the 5-HT2 agonist is responsible for the psychological effects of psilocybin. The 5-HT2 post-synaptic agonist appears to mimics the effects to 5-HT and cause psychological changes in the central nervous system (Vollenweider 1998).

I think you're misinterpreting what they're saying in that article
they were trying to prove that the psilocybin mechanism has no involvement with the dopamine system in humans
the 'psychosis' they're talking about is just the psychological effects of psilocybin, not actually psychosis in it's negative sense

Yeah, people who aren't so keen on the psychedelics like to use the words "psychosis" and "trip" interchangeably.

Right...and that the "psychosis" can be short-circuited by filling certain receptors in the brain with other molecules before the psilocybin is introduced.

Well, freak outs can certainly happen and they can be ugly and dangerous, but whether or not they should be classified as psychoses is debatable. As for preventing freak outs, the key is set and setting. Depressants like benzos, phenibut, GHB, or antipsychotics can calm you down and mute the intensity of the feelings, too.
