I found what will be a few grams dry on the field today.. They were pretty dried on the field. Its supposed to rain today and tomorrow and maybe the next day.
We were riding around the field on what is like a 4 wheeler but with a small back and it seats two on a bench up front... Like a suped up golf cart. And in MID day its the bomb.
Ill get pictures soon :D:D:D:D
Shroomery image hosting makes it look poor quality and that saddens me i might upload better quality ones when i get home... Its supposed to rain today tomorrow and the next day so i might hae some fresh ones too I hope this field produces copes also.
Ill finish uploading pictures when my camera battery charges...
I even found a cube about 50 feet away from the house

Nice finds. Thanks for sharing and good luck for the next hunt. Sounds like the weather is cooperating. I always wanted some type of elevation (like a flats boat with a poling platform) for the middle of a grassy pasture. Talk about "eagle eyes". You could have some sort of golf cart vehicle with an elevated cage and call out "3 cubes at 2o'clock. Yeah, that's the flats fisherman in me talking.

Good rain day, ya'll.
I'm in Austin, and though I'm a seasoned gatherer/grower from the Northeast, I don't know any good places to go foraging around here. Cpt Mushman and Slash, you have any good spots around Austin? Anybody else?
Thanks tons.

Where at in Texas? I am in San Antonio visiting friends at Fort Sam Houston and we will be backpacking in Big Thicket National Preserve this weekend. Anything there that youknow of?

Whoa, Amberdragon, that pic is phenomenal. Is that an outdoor patch of cubes? Cultivated or "natural"? And, geez, where? Big Thicket?...I've never been there.
I'm in Austin, hunting for hunting places, but it's been pretty dry here...until today (grin).
