i need some sugestions please

well i couldn't find any wide mouth jars AT ALL. so i only had qrt jars and 1 half pint, they are all Brf/verm and i have 3 qrts and 1 half pint what should i do :]

uhm.. i want some sugestions on what too do with them haha no problem just thinking casing or maybe bulk, and actually 1 of the qrt jars is a straight up n down jar so that may be a cake haha

I don't have any wide mouth either, just reg qrt's.

I would do grain in my qrts, you have enough to make a good pan.

BRF/Verm PK Tek cakes in tapered jars .... yep .... you're not going to have intact cakes ... you'll have to dig the cakes out of the jars.

So, jump in and case the crumbled cakes !

The bigger jars will colonize more slowly. Did you say, "Quart jars.." ? not pint ? That's a lot of BRF and verm to colonize..... hope the quart jars are loaded very, very loosely.

Many people have substituted short, wide mouth, drinking glasses (juice glasses) for wide mouth jars.

Like rico said, you can skip jars and go for glasses which work for people. I would watch out filling a quart jar with brf, it can be slow to colonize which can lead to contamination. I really suggest grain, so much faster and easier to work with. Good luck!

I think you could crumble to a pan and just do a casing.

Wow ppl are illiterate The jars are incubating right now. 2 reg qrt jars 1 straight qrt jar and 1/2 pint jar. all incubating all brown rice flour and vermiculite. in the mail on it's way to my house is a presterilized 3 lb bag of rye which im making 3 monotubs, with coir and i think coffee with a little verm. my question is these jars are extra and i don't know what i wanna do with them thats the question. i want ppls suggestions.

Your original post isn't exactly a fine example of English use itself. No need to be insulting those who you seek help from.

However, as others have said-- you'll have to crumble them (can be done by shaking the jars like mad or reaching into the jars with a sterilized fork and breaking them up) and then just casing the resulting chunks as you would with grains.

let them finish off , then , wearing saftey goggles and mindful of your hands being cut , use a chisel or a flathead screw driver (sterilized) and simply pop their sharp ends once into the top half of the jar with a hammer and tap the cake out the broken end

i still think you should crumble and case, you'll get get a better harvest...in most cases. its a work vs reward type deal. either way ya go, good luck. peace.

yea my baby from the dried spores got the horrible green :[ so i threw it in a huge woodpile in my back yard, and im thinkin when spring rolls around somethings gunna happen in the wood pile. theres about 10 cakes 1 casing and 2 pints of lc in it :] so who knows. but yea im thinkin about keepin them as cakes cause i got a 3 lb bag or rye comin and im doin some rye/coir tubs
