Hey guys, first post here so hopefully i can get across all the info needed to ID some mushrooms i found recently.
A few different types found. Thanks for any help.
First Mushroom
Habitat: Gravel outside my house. The mushrooms were just poking their heads through the top of the gravel with most of the stem hidden underneath.
Gills: Very light brown... very much the same os the most common store bought mushrooms in shape.
Stem: Whitish/light-brown, pretty fragile, uniform width all the way down
Cap: light brown and mostly uniform in colour. pretty smooth
Spore print color: no spore prints (just one plain color)
Bruising: just turns very slightly darker, as if it was wet.
Location: Picked in Hobart Tasmania AUS.
Second Mushroom
Habitat: grassed areas. Slightly longish manicured grass.
Gills: like a sponge that you would use to wash the car. yellow in colour.
Stem: light yellow uniform thinkness all way down
Cap: sort of like it has caramelized. There is a slight hardness to it sort of like a toffee apple.
Spore print color: no real spore prints, just caramelized sugar kind of look
Bruising: doesn't appear to turn any other colour when bruised
Location: Picked in Hobart Tasmania AUS.
Third Mushroom
Habitat: Under some trees among masses of decomposing twigs/leafs.
Gills: dark brown, very straight and quite fine
Stem: light in colour, whitish. Straight all the way down.
Cap: thin and flat.. seems to have blueish on it (But please note this may be weed treatment done by the council - i do not want to eat this or anything - just hoping to start learning about these.
Spore print color: small blue specks but have a look at the surrounding in photo.. could be weed treatment.
Bruising: turns brown when bruised.
Location: Picked in Hobart Tasmania AUS.

1) Psathyrella 2) Suillus or Bolete 3) Agaricus
All of these mushrooms will drop a spore print if you pick them at the right stage and leave the cap on a piece of paper overnight.
None of them are hallucinogenic. The second and third might be edible, but more research would be needed to separate them from other poisonous species that are in the same genus.
It would be helpful to know what kind of tree is growing near the second and also if it has any odor or taste.
For the third any odor is important to note, and also any staining reactions, especially yellow or red after the mushroom is bruised.

There should be a noticeable blue tinge a few minutes - a few hours after picking, provided they have gills. Thats the psilocybin reacting with oxygen When you see the blue, you know its the thing, if not, its most likely a non-active
(Well this worked so far i was in aus)

Although this is helpful information, this thread was posted 5 years and 6 months ago... You're a little late for the party.
