Has anyone tried Crown Royal Cask No. 16 yet? I'm an avid crown drinker and just saw this at the liquor store for the first time the other day (I'm assuming its fairly new) . Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to try it yet? I'm sure it has to be pretty delecious though...

According to wikipedia: The latest variation, Crown Royal Cask No.16, was introduced late 2007. Made from over fifty blended and individually aged whiskies in 12 year old cognac barrels. These barrels are made of oak from the Limousin forest in France. The whiskies are designed to have a cognac type of finish with notes of rye, grain, and fruit.

I'm a big fan of Crown Royal and the Cask No. 16 sounds awesome. I would love to try it, but at $100 a bottle, I probably never will.

Not a crown drinker, more of a scotch and tequila man. In my experience when you start to pay over 50 for a bottle you get exponentially diminishing returns. Translation: Its not worth it.
