This movie is simply amazing. Watch it. I just went to Suncoast and bought the 2 dvd set and it's starting now. It's been a few years since I have seen it so i am looking forward to watching again. It's like a japanesse alice in wonderland. It hasn't been mentioned in here for a few years either so i figured i'd post to see if any of you have seen it and what you think of it. I saw it and it wasn't my kind of movie... but i still appreciated it.
I just rented a movie called MirrorMask that came up in a recommended movie search I did... gonna watch it tonight or sometime this week

Mirrormask is awesome. That girl is adorable (her accent kills me) and it's a trippy wtf movie with some pretty funny parts. "Look, an idiot!"
Spirited Away is also an awesome movie. Beautiful and trippy and fun. Though I prefer Princess Mononoke, it's a bit more substantial. Though really, all the Miyazaki films are excellent. The only other animated film that compares (and exceeds to be honest) is Grave of the Fireflies.

visuals are perfect and so is the story.

Ya Nausicca of the Valley of the Wind was another really good one. I love Miyazaki's movies, they're really the only animes I like. Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle are my two favorites though

Yep I enjoyed Howls, Spirited, Princess, Earthsea, and Nausicaa. Miyazaki films are my favorite.

to be a huge anime fan.

Anything by Hayao Miyazaki is a masterpiece.  Check out Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro is an excellent one.
Gorō Miyazaki is his son, and he's produced the movie Tales from Earthsea, another MUST SEE anime.

That's the only one here I haven't seen, I'll definitely check it out.
