none of those would work at all as a main part of a substrate.
You need grains/wood (some other psyliocybes)/grasses
Kitchen compost in s m a l l amounts is cool.

For a tryamphatmine boost (known to cause a increase in the strength of the psilocybin) you can soak your straw/coir in hemp meal protein, it's a powered hemp product but is fairly expensive. $20 for a small bag but hey, I have no complaints.
I was suppose to post a tek on it awhile back, I'm lazy but it does work, the measurements are what need to be worked on, to much will lead to contamination but in small amounts it does work fairly well and I'm not to sure about the potency increase because they're always crazy.

Trying to do that is okay, but making your mushrooms 5% more powerful seems not worth the effort. You make 100 mushrooms as potent as 105.... potency is 90% strain.

Yeah cubensis are grain lovers, they won't perform nearly as well on veggies of any type I wouldn't imagine. Orange peels would be too acidic as would most fruits.
It may be interesting to try nuts with and without their shells included. They are way more pricey than grains though and probably won't perform very well.

Yeah- most nuts after they are cured have high levels of omega-3 fatty acid and a number oily enzymes + high levels of mono and saturated fats- pecans, walnuts, cashues I can say would be some messy substrate- the shells on the other hand, almonds come to mind, I have seen grass lovers fruiting on almond shells in by backyard. We have narly California Pecan tree that drops about 100+ lbs a year (at 4$ a lbs its awsome to get them for free, and for years I have looked and never found any myc on any of the shells.
Peanut shells seem like a possibility? Anyone?

Sorry, there is no proof that that is actually true so that's out of the question.

Potency is once again genetic, potency is not 90% of the strain my god.
