Because he is a thief, but I guess you already figured that out. I would think a vendor would make a lot more money by selling at reasonable prices. Was nothing I learned in my economics classes true??

I first went to STP because at the time it seemed the easiest way to go. I didn't know about The Shroomery at that time.
I bought 2 Ecuador syringes for $50 and 24 half pint pre-sterilized jars for some rediculous price. I would later learn that it was just $5 worth of brf/verm.
Both syringes looked like they were made from tap water and I never got one point of mycelium growth.
The whole thing was a bust and I was too scared to ask for a refund because I was paranoid that maybe they were actualy police running some kind of sting.
The whole experience sucked.

That is why everyone hates STP so much?bullshit like that.
Also, I personally feel it is pretty bad for a vendor to sell some strains for $25 and others for $90 (as if they are just so damn amazing they are worth 3-4 times the price). I also find it hard to believe that he wouldn?t make more money by selling all strains for $30 - $40, but I don?t really know or care.

STP is taking advantage of the uneducated with those rediculous prices. I highly doubt he has a $5k a month advertising bill. He has one very small add in High Times from what I have seen. And even before that add was in there he was charging those same high prices.
As for Stamets, do you really think he knows or cares those pics are on STP site? I'm guessing STP is taking orders for those kits, then just calling Fungi Perfecti and having the order shipped directly to the customer. Or maybe he is buying them ahead of time and putting his own stickers and labels on FP's products... hmmm...maybe I should place a small order with STP and just find out 
None the less, the guy is just taking advantage of the uneducated who happen to stumble across his website and dont know any better.
A while back STP was selling cubensis spore syringes as Panaeolus Cyanescens and calling them blue meanies. Obviously he should know the difference and did... but did not care he was misleading ppl until some people like myself made a point to write him about it many times. Food for thought.

I payed a whole lot for a jar of drierite from a vendor here a while back. My bad for not shopping around. Just because I was being too lazy to type drierite into a search engine I'm sure as fuck not going to hold my own laziness against em.
Frankly, considering all the fucked up bullshit the vendors have to put up with around here from some of you people, I wouldn't blame them if they took up fucking cleaning carpets or something instead.
