jars stalled colonization?

my jars go way too fucking slow to colonize, and i dont know why. i have 7 colonizing now. 2 from around 4 months ago and 5 from 2 1/2 months ago. All of them are at around 85%+ some at 95%+. Just the bottoms need it. Now even though they grew really slow the whole time, within the past month they seemed to have completely stalled. I flipped the jars.
What am i doing wrong? Can i inject some more spores to help growth? Would better temperatures help (70-75 degrees now)? Today i wrapped my container in a blanket to help with heat. I have two full cakes (2 of them did completely colonize) in the FC now and are doing WONDERFUL. I haven't seen many pinsets on a cake that are as as full as mine (not trying to boast, im just trying to say that i know the cakes themselves are fine). So what gives? What am i doing wrong? Anything i can do to help them? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me they arent lost.
Would it be possible to just cut the bottom (1/2 - 1 inch) of the cake. just the part that hasn't colonized?

Bump up the temperature a bit. Optimum is 86*f, so it's a bit too cold at 70-75.

optimum temps are arguably 75 - 81 but thats not your problem. if its not colonized after 4 months then i would say its safe to pitch it in the back yard and start over. but maybe someone has a better idea

dont put more syringe solution in it. that is really slow im noe proffessional but i'd say something went wrong. even if you injected 1/4 cc in only one hole i would think 2 1/2 months is too long. but i had pink buffalo's that took about 2 months to finish. But that is not including the extra week your suppose to leave them in their after the outside is colonized.
As far as the ones that have been in their for 4 months i'd say throw them outside and wish for the best. Try to give one od them a sniff in a sterile area.

Are the cakes airtight or have you allowed for gas exchange? I think they need to breathe a little, maybe loosening a lid or whatever would be worth a try before you ditch them.

it might be air tight, i didnt think of that. the thing is though, the cakes from the same batch (that also took a really long time 2 1/2 - 3 months) turned out really good. and it looks perfectly fine.
*3 nights ago
*last night
*tonight
everything looks really healthy to me, and those took a long time too. so what gives
i guess ill try to loosen the lids. i really just think i messed up somewhere (it's my first grow) but did good for the most part. i know i dont have much experiance, but they smell fine to me, and look fine.

Wow very nice! I'll be very pleased if mine come out looking half as good as those. If it was lack of gas exchange it shouldn't have hurt them i don't think, just stalled a little (like putting them in the fridge will slow growth right down). Once they birthed they took off again right?

well i had 9 total jars. Two fully colonized (just recently, it still took over 2 1/2 months) and i birthed them, and as you can see they are doing fairly well. The other 7 are following behind, it just seems like the growth has stopped.
I really dont think they are contaminated, they look healthy, smell fine, and cakes from the same batch are producing well. I think i just did something that is preventing the mycellum growth. I wrapped them up in a blanket, and loosened the jar lids. We'll see if that helps.
If nothing works, can i just take the cakes out and cut off the bottom inch or so (thats the only part not colonized. all the jars are in between 85-95%) and just birth it like that?
Help from an experianced master please. Grace me with your knowledge, so all my future grows will look nice and healthy.
by the way, this is my first grow ever. any other opinions/advice/etc...?
